Signing Adobe Acrobat PDF Documents

If you haven’t already, register for and download your personal Client SSL Certificate.

Once you get your certificate, you can digitally sign your PDF file.

Open PDF file you wish to sign.

Look on the right side of the menu bar.

You will see a label called “Fill & Sign”

Once that opens, scroll down to “Work with Certificates”

Once that opens, choose “Sign with Certificate”

A window will pop open.   Click on the “Drag New Signature Rectangle”

Using the cursor draw a rectangle where you want to put your sig.

A “Sign Document” windows will pop up.

Enter the PIN number for your certifcate that you were not supposed to forget.

Click the “sign” button.

If it does not validate

Go to the menubar and pick “edit” and choose “Preferences” then scroll down  and click on “Signatures”.

On the right side there is a “Verification” section.   Click on the “More…” button.

Scroll down to the “Windows Integration” section and checkbox the “Validating Signatures” checkbox.

Click ok.

Validate your signature.
