Getting Started with Remote Desktop on PC Windows
Step 1: If working remotely and VPN is not already installed on your notebook, computer:
- Install SSL Cisco AnyConnect VPN
- Login to SSL Cisco AnyConnect VPN
Step 2: On your Windows PC computer
- From the Windows Start Menu: run the Remote Desktop application in Windows
- or From Windows Search, enter: rdp
- then click on Remote Desktop Connection (to launch the GUI)
Step 3: Example: Use Windows Remote Desktop Connection to connect to your Linux workstation
Enter: computer name
Enter: your login username
