Campus Email or bMail – is provided by Google services through your bConnected campus account. Your campus email address will be in this format: yourCalnetID@berkeley.edu
If you HAVE an active CalnetID and passphrase but DON’T have a campus email address, please go to https://calmail.berkeley.edu/manage/account/create_account to set up a bConnected Google account.
If you are a visiting researcher or scholar at SSL, and do NOT have a CalNetID, please send sysadmin@ssl.berkeley.edu your outside email address (e.g. gmail.com or yahoo.com or your other institutional email) so we can forward your SSL email to that address.
If you don’t like your CalnetID as your CalnetID@berkeley.edu campus email address, please be aware that you are only allowed by campus to change your ID one time, so we strongly advise you select something you intend to keep for the rest of your time with UC Berkeley. There may be other issues that can arise when changing your CalnetID.
