SSL-Air2 Tips for Ubuntu
If your Ubuntu computer has trouble connecting to SSL-Air2
try resetting the Wi-Fi connection, by deleting the SSL-Air2 entry and
re-adding it to the Wi-Fi list.
If SSL-Air2 is in the Wi-Fi list, remove it from the Wi-Fi list
- Select the Wi-Fi network icon (from the Ubuntu desktop tool bar)
- Select Edit Connections
- Select SSL-Air2 from the list, then select: “Delete or Forget network”
Add SSL-Air2 to the Wi-Fi list
- Make sure to: Enable Networking
- Make sure to: Enable Wi-Fi
- Select SSL-Air2 from the Wi-Fi list
In the Authentication window:
- Wireless Security, select: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
- Authentication, select: Protected EAP (PEAP)
- Anonymous Identity: leave blank
- CA certificate, select: None
- PEAP version, select: Automatic
- Inner Authentication, select: MSCHAPv2
- Username, enter: your-user-name
- Password, enter: your-password
- select: Connect
- A second pop-up window may appear, Press: ignore
Settings to check:
Select the Wi-Fi network icon (from the Ubuntu desktop tool bar)
Select: Edit Connections -> SSL-Air2
- Select tab: General
- Make sure these boxes are checked:
+Automatically connect to this network when it is available
+All users may connect to this networkPress: Save
